Each season we open up while Baltimore County Schools are still in session beginning Memorial Day Weekend.

  • We are open weekends in May & June from 12pm – 9pm and in August & September from 12pm – 8pm.
  • We are open weekdays from 4pm – 8pm until Baltimore County Schools let out for the summer and then begin daily operations from 12pm – 9pm in June & July and from 12pm – 8pm in August & September.
  • We traditionally close after Labor Day Weekend, however stay tuned as we might offer an extended swim season.

Guests are allowed to come with members of the pool and will be charged the guest fee for that day.  Guest passes can be purchased online ahead of time here:

We have a full service snack bar with a variety of options to cover your entire day at the pool.  We offer ice cream and snow balls to hamburgers and BLTs.  It is against our policy to have food delivered to the pool. You are welcome to bring food from home and cold beverages.  We do not serve alcohol at the pool. Members and guests who may have excessively consumed alcohol may be asked to leave and may lose their memberships without refunds.  This is a family friendly swim club.

YES YOU CAN!!!  Our pool is available for rental for a variety of purposes and pricing is based on the nature of your event and the time.  We host birthday parties, graduation parties, corporate events, social gatherings, fitness classes and more.  You can find event booking information here:

Before the season starts we begin our hiring process.  We need certified lifeguards, snack bar attendants, and front desk staff.  Some of our youth return to school and we augment our staff in August as well.  Check our Facebook page for active posts regarding our hiring needs.

Our main pool is 135 feet long and has two diving boards and in water basketball.  We have a wading pool with a splash pad and water features.  We have a basketball court, cornhole, ladder golf, Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, ping pong,  and more.  We have men and women’s bathhouses with changing rooms and showers.  We have plenty of picnic tables, grills, shaded grass areas, covered tables in our snack bar area, and plenty of pool lounge chairs. Members are welcome to bring their own folding chairs and leave them on property at their own risk.

Kids who want to use the deep end section of the pool will be required to pass a swim test involving a continuous freestyle swim back and forth in the deep end and a 90 second water tread.  These tests are given at particular times during the day and announcements will be made.  They are not available on demand.

The following rules and regulations are for the protection and benefit of all members and have been established to assure safe and sanitary operation of the pool facilities. ALL MEMBERS AND GUESTS must observe them. The Hillcrest Staff has the authority to refuse admission. Any failure to comply with these rules will be sufficient cause for immediate suspension of pool privileges for the offending member and can be considered sufficient cause for withdrawal of swimming privileges. If pool privileges are forfeited for any reason there will be NO REFUNDS, We will charge the cost of any property damage to the responsible active member. We request parents to caution their children to observe all rules and obey the instructions of the managers, lifeguards and other employees. All persons using the pool & recreation areas do so at their own risk. The owners will not be responsible for any accident, injury, loss or damage to personal property.
  1. EMERGENCY CLOSING
    1. Opening/ Closing times are subject to change by management, depending on weather conditions or occupancy in the pool.  No member or guest shall be in the pool without a lifeguard present.
  2. GUESTS
    1. Members are responsible for all actions of their guests.
    2. Guest Fees are as follows:
      1. Monday – Friday… $10 before 5pm & $5 after 5pm.
      2. Saturday & Sunday & Holidays… $15 before 5pm & $10 after 5pm.
  3. ADMITTANCE
    1. Children who have not reached their 13th birthday will not be permitted in the 12 ft. diving well until they have passed the following swim test:
      1. Swim two widths of the deep end of the pool
      2. Treading water for 90 seconds. Children who have successfully completed the above test must then notify staff in the office.
  4. BABY POOL
    1. Use of the Baby Pool will be limited to children age 7 & under. Any child still wearing a diaper MUST use the Baby Pool.
    2. Children must wear water proof pants with elastic legs and waist, or a swimmer diaper.
    3. An Adult or Responsible teenager must accompany children always in the Baby Pool Area. Baltimore County Health Department Regulations require that: All children who have not outgrown the need for diapers, including “Swimmer Diapers” WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE MAIN POOL. Also, Arm Swimmees are prohibited.
    4. ALL Diaper changes must be done on the designated changing stations inside the restrooms not on the grounds.
  5. SAFETY
    1. No running, pushing, wrestling or causing undue disturbance in the pool or pool area.
    2. Only U.S. Coast Guard approved Life jackets/Vests are allowed in the main pool with Adult Supervision.
    3. No ball playing in the 12′ section of the pool.
    4. No footballs or soccer balls are allowed in the pool. Only soft nerf style balls are allowed.
    5. NO GLASS CONTAINERS of any kind are allowed in the pool or the pool area.
  6. DIVING
    1. The Diving Boards are rated for up to 250 lbs. If you weigh more then 250 lbs.– DO NOT USE THE DIVING BOARDS. 
    2. Only one person is allowed on the diving board at one time; No diving until the previous diver has cleared the area below the boards and has reached the ladder, after diving please swim to the nearest ladder.
    3. Diving is permitted in a face forward direction only.
    4. No diving off the side of the pool in 5 ft. of water or less. Diving off the side in the 12 ft. section only is permitted.
  7. GENERAL RULES
    1. No intoxicants may be brought on pool grounds, with the exception of Club Adult parties.
    2. SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED ON POOL PROPERTY.  If you must smoke, please exit and smoke at the street and deposit butts into provided sand can.
    3. No skateboards, scooters or hard balls are permitted inside pool area.
    4. There is a zero tolerance policy on cursing or foul language.
  8. VIOLATIONS OF RULES
    1. ANY VIOLATIONS OF THE RULES IS SUFFICIENT CAUSE FOR LOSS OF MEMBERSHIP WITHOUT A REFUND.
